Eggnog Cake Balls (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 16 ounce box pound cake mix.
02 - 2/3 cup eggnog.
03 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened.
04 - 2 large eggs.
05 - 2 tablespoons rum (or 2 teaspoons extract).
06 - 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg.
07 - 16 ounce container whipped vanilla frosting.
08 - 48 ounces vanilla or chocolate candy coating.
09 - Sea salt for topping.

Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F, line 9x5 loaf pan.
02 - Beat cake mix, eggnog, butter, eggs, rum, nutmeg.
03 - Bake 55-60 minutes until done.
04 - Cool completely, then crumble cake.
05 - Mix with partial container of frosting.
06 - Form 1-inch balls, chill several hours.
07 - Melt coating, dip balls to cover.
08 - Top with sea salt before set.
09 - Chill 30 minutes until firm.

Notes:

01 - Chill overnight for best results.
02 - Don't use all the frosting.
03 - Work quickly when coating.
04 - Can use rum extract instead.
