Easy Breakfast Stromboli (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 1 (11-ounce) can thin crust refrigerated pizza dough.
02 - 1 pound beef breakfast sausage (or turkey sausage), cooked and crumbled.
03 - 8 large eggs, soft scrambled.
04 - 2 cups shredded Colby Jack cheese (cheddar works, too).

Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 375°F and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
02 - Unroll the pizza dough and stretch it thin on the parchment paper, being careful not to tear it.
03 - Spread the soft scrambled eggs over the dough, leaving a 3-inch edge around the perimeter.
04 - Evenly distribute the cooked sausage over the eggs.
05 - Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the sausage and eggs, reserving some for topping the stromboli.
06 - Starting from one edge, gently roll the dough into a spiral, using the parchment to guide the roll.
07 - Place the stromboli seam-side down on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
08 - Tuck the ends under the roll to seal them.
09 - Make a few diagonal slashes on top of the stromboli and sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
10 - Bake for 20 to 30 minutes, until golden brown.
11 - Serve warm, either on its own or with sausage gravy, salsa, or marinara sauce for dipping.
