Dr. Pepper Sloppy Joes (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 2 pounds lean ground beef.
02 - 1 teaspoon granulated garlic.
03 - 1 teaspoon kosher salt.
04 - ½ teaspoon black pepper.
05 - 1 cup diced onion.
06 - 2 cups Dr. Pepper Barbecue Sauce.
07 - 6-8 buns.

Instructions:

01 - Add the ground beef to a large skillet and place over medium-high heat. Season with granulated garlic, kosher salt, and black pepper. Cook, stirring frequently, until the beef starts to brown.
02 - Add the diced onions to the skillet and continue to cook until the onions are softened and the ground beef starts to get crispy.
03 - Pour in the Dr. Pepper Barbecue Sauce and stir to combine well with the beef and onions. Lower the heat to low and simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
04 - Keep the mixture warm until ready to serve. You can also transfer the mixture to a slow cooker and set it on warm until ready to serve.
