Crockpot Pizza Burgers (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 2 lbs ground beef.
02 - 30 oz pizza sauce (two 15 oz jars).
03 - 1/2 cup pepperoni slices, sliced in half.
04 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella.
05 - 8 slices mozzarella cheese.
06 - 8 rolls.

Instructions:

01 - In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.
02 - Transfer the browned ground beef to the bottom of a slow cooker. Stir in the pizza sauce and sliced pepperoni.
03 - Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 3 hours, allowing the flavors to meld together.
04 - After 3 hours, sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the beef mixture in the slow cooker. Cover and cook for an additional 30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
05 - Spoon the pizza-flavored beef mixture onto the rolls. Top each with a slice of mozzarella cheese.
06 - Serve the Crockpot Pizza Burgers hot, and enjoy the delicious combination of burger and pizza flavors!.

Notes:

01 - For added flavor, try toasting the rolls before assembling the burgers.
