Crock Pot Pizza Dip (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 8 ounces softened cream cheese.
02 - 3 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, divided.
03 - 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese.
04 - 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning.
05 - 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder.
06 - 5 ounces pepperoni minis, divided.
07 - 14 ounces pizza sauce.
08 - Fresh basil, chopped (for garnish).
09 - Bread or veggies for dipping.

Instructions:

01 - In a medium-sized mixing bowl, beat 8 ounces of softened cream cheese on medium-high speed for about 1 minute, until smooth and creamy.
02 - Mix in 1 1/2 cups of mozzarella cheese, 1/3 cup grated parmesan, 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning, and 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder with the cream cheese until well combined.
03 - Spray the slow cooker with cooking spray to prevent sticking, then evenly spread the cream cheese mixture on the bottom.
04 - Layer half of the pepperoni minis over the cream cheese mixture. Spread 14 ounces of pizza sauce evenly over the pepperoni. Top with the remaining 2 cups of mozzarella cheese, then sprinkle the rest of the pepperoni over the cheese.
05 - Cover the slow cooker with the lid and cook on low for 3 hours or high for 2 hours.
06 - Before serving, garnish the dip with freshly chopped basil. Serve warm with bread or veggies for dipping.
