Crab Rangoon (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 24 wonton wrappers.
02 - 8 ounces cream cheese, softened.
03 - 8 ounces imitation crab meat, finely chopped.
04 - 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce.
05 - 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce.
06 - 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder.
07 - 2 green onions, sliced.
08 - 1 egg white.
09 - Oil, for frying.

Instructions:

01 - In a medium mixing bowl, combine the finely chopped imitation crab meat, softened cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder, and sliced green onions.
02 - Spoon 1 tablespoon of filling into the center of each wonton wrapper.
03 - Brush the 4 sides of each wonton with egg white. Fold the corners into the center and press together to seal the wonton.
04 - Fill a skillet 1 1/2 inches deep with oil and heat to 350°F (175°C).
05 - Work in batches to fry the crab rangoon until golden brown and bubbly, about 2-3 minutes. Use metal tongs to flip as necessary.
06 - Remove the crab rangoon from the oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with sweet and sour sauce.
