Crab And Shrimp Seafood Bisque (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup crab meat.
02 - 1 cup shrimp.
03 - 1 cup heavy cream.
04 - 2 cups fish stock.
05 - 1 minced onion.
06 - 2 cloves garlic, minced.

Instructions:

01 - In a large pot, lightly fry the minced onion and garlic over medium heat until they become aromatic and slightly translucent.
02 - Add the shrimp, crab meat, and fish stock to the pot. Allow the mixture to simmer gently, ensuring the seafood is cooked through and the flavors meld together.
03 - Gradually mix in the heavy cream, stirring continuously. Cook until the bisque reaches a rich and velvety consistency, about 10-15 minutes.
04 - Serve the bisque hot, optionally garnished with fresh herbs or a squeeze of lemon for added brightness.

Notes:

01 - Be sure to simmer the bisque gently to avoid curdling the cream.
02 - Fresh seafood works best for this recipe, but you can also use frozen shrimp and crab meat if fresh is not available.
