Alfredo Sauce (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 1 package pasta (penne recommended).
02 - 1 stick of butter.
03 - 1 clove of garlic, minced.
04 - 1 pint of heavy cream.
05 - 1 cup fresh Parmesan cheese, grated.
06 - 2 tablespoons cream cheese.
07 - 1/4 teaspoon salt.
08 - 1/2 teaspoon white pepper.

Instructions:

01 - Cook pasta according to package instructions to your liking. Drain and set aside.
02 - In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and cook for two minutes.
03 - Add the heavy cream and cream cheese to the saucepan. Heat until the mixture starts to bubble, but do not let it boil.
04 - Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and mix until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth.
05 - Season with salt and white pepper to taste.
06 - Mix the hot Alfredo sauce with the cooked pasta until well combined.
07 - Serve immediately, just like at Olive Garden.
