Christmas Caramel Popcorn (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 14 cups stovetop popcorn.
02 - 3/4 cup unsalted butter.
03 - 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar.
04 - 1/3 cup light corn syrup.
05 - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda.
06 - 1 teaspoon vanilla.
07 - Red and green food coloring.

Instructions:

01 - Divide popcorn between two large bowls.
02 - Preheat oven to 250°F, grease two 9x13 pans.
03 - Boil butter, brown sugar, corn syrup for 3 minutes.
04 - Add baking soda and vanilla.
05 - Divide caramel, add colors separately.
06 - Pour over popcorn, toss to coat.
07 - Bake 45 minutes, stirring every 15.
08 - Cool completely before serving.

Notes:

01 - Work quickly before caramel sets.
02 - Stir while baking for even coating.
03 - Great for holiday gifting.
04 - Store in airtight container.
