Chicken Bacon Ranch (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 6 slices of cooked bacon (or microwave bacon).
02 - 4 cooked and shredded chicken breasts.
03 - 32 oz. bag of frozen tater tots.
04 - 1/2 cup ranch dressing.
05 - 1 cup milk.
06 - 2 tbsp all-purpose flour.
07 - 3 tbsp butter.
08 - 1 1/2 cups shredded mild cheddar cheese.
09 - Salt & pepper to taste.

Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
02 - If using raw bacon, cook until crispy. Drain on paper towels and crumble. If using microwave bacon, follow package instructions and crumble once cooked.
03 - Cook and shred the chicken breasts if not already done. Set aside.
04 - In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for about 1 minute. Gradually whisk in the milk and continue cooking, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and stir in the ranch dressing. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
05 - In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, and the prepared ranch sauce. Mix well. Spread the chicken mixture evenly in the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish. Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer over the chicken mixture. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the tater tots.
06 - Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
07 - Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy the creamy, cheesy, and crunchy goodness!.
