Ingredients:

01 - 3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour.
02 - 1 cup margarine, softened.
03 - 1 teaspoon baking powder.
04 - 2 large eggs.
05 - 1/2 teaspoon salt.
06 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract.
07 - 1 1/2 cups white sugar.

Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
02 - In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened margarine and white sugar until light and fluffy.
03 - Beat in the eggs one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated. Stir in the vanilla extract.
04 - In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
05 - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
06 - Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on ungreased baking sheets. Flatten each ball slightly with the bottom of a glass.
07 - Sprinkle red and green sugar sprinkles on top of each cookie.
08 - Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers remain soft.
