Best Homemade Salsa Ever (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 1 can (28 ounce) whole tomatoes with juice.
02 - 2 cans (10 ounce) Rotel (diced tomatoes and green chilies).
03 - 1/4 cup chopped onion.
04 - 1 clove garlic, minced.
05 - 1 whole jalapeño, quartered and sliced thin.
06 - 1/4 teaspoon sugar.
07 - 1/4 teaspoon salt.
08 - 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin.
09 - 1/2 cup cilantro (more to taste!).
10 - Juice of 1/2 lime.

Instructions:

01 - In a large food processor, combine the whole tomatoes, Rotel, chopped onion, garlic, jalapeño, sugar, salt, and ground cumin.
02 - Add the cilantro and lime juice to the mixture.
03 - Pulse the food processor until the salsa reaches your desired consistency, whether chunky or smooth.
04 - Taste and adjust seasoning, adding more cilantro or lime juice if needed.
05 - Serve immediately or refrigerate for at least an hour to allow the flavors to meld.
