Beef-Stuffed Mushrooms (Print Version)
Ingredients:

12 fresh mushrooms.

½ pound ground beef.

1 tablespoon minced onion.

1 clove garlic, minced.

1 tablespoon butter.

¼ cup bread crumbs.

Salt and pepper to taste.

¼ cup heavy cream.

¼ cup butter, melted.

1 teaspoon chili powder.
Instructions:

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

Remove mushroom stems and chop them finely.

In a saucepan over medium heat, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic until the beef is no longer pink. Drain the excess fat.

Stir in chopped mushroom stems, 1 tablespoon of butter, bread crumbs, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.

Remove the pan from heat and stir in the heavy cream.

Dip the mushroom caps in the melted butter and stuff them generously with the beef mixture.

Arrange stuffed mushrooms in a baking dish and sprinkle with chili powder.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden and cooked through.

Use large mushrooms for easier stuffing.

The chili powder adds a nice kick, but you can adjust the spice level to taste.
