Beef-Stuffed Mushrooms (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 12 fresh mushrooms.
02 - ½ pound ground beef.
03 - 1 tablespoon minced onion.
04 - 1 clove garlic, minced.
05 - 1 tablespoon butter.
06 - ¼ cup bread crumbs.
07 - Salt and pepper to taste.
08 - ¼ cup heavy cream.
09 - ¼ cup butter, melted.
10 - 1 teaspoon chili powder.

Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
02 - Remove mushroom stems and chop them finely.
03 - In a saucepan over medium heat, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic until the beef is no longer pink. Drain the excess fat.
04 - Stir in chopped mushroom stems, 1 tablespoon of butter, bread crumbs, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
05 - Remove the pan from heat and stir in the heavy cream.
06 - Dip the mushroom caps in the melted butter and stuff them generously with the beef mixture.
07 - Arrange stuffed mushrooms in a baking dish and sprinkle with chili powder.
08 - Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden and cooked through.

Notes:

01 - Use large mushrooms for easier stuffing.
02 - The chili powder adds a nice kick, but you can adjust the spice level to taste.
03 - These stuffed mushrooms are perfect for appetizers or party snacks.
