Apple Pie Biscuits (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 1 can of buttermilk biscuits.
02 - 1 can apple pie filling.
03 - 1/2 cup butter, melted.
04 - 1/2 cup brown sugar.
05 - 1 tablespoon cinnamon.
06 - 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg.
07 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
08 - Icing: 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar, 1 tablespoon milk.

Instructions:

01 - Lightly grease a pan or skillet.
02 - In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
03 - Dip each biscuit in melted butter, ensuring all sides are coated. Then, cover the biscuits with the sugar mixture and arrange them in the prepared pan.
04 - Chop the apple pie filling into smaller pieces and mix in the vanilla extract.
05 - Arrange the apple pie filling over the biscuits, then sprinkle the remaining sugar mixture and drizzle the remaining melted butter over the top.
06 - Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 35 minutes.
07 - Prepare the icing by mixing the confectioners' sugar with milk until smooth. Drizzle the icing over the warm biscuits and serve.

Notes:

01 - For a richer flavor, use dark brown sugar instead of light.
02 - You can add a pinch of cloves for a more spiced flavor.
03 - These biscuits are best served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
