Air Fryer Tuna Melts (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 10 ounces tuna, drained.
02 - 1/4 cup mayonnaise.
03 - 3 tablespoons red onion, diced.
04 - 3 tablespoons celery, diced.
05 - 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley.
06 - 1 tablespoon lemon juice.
07 - 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard.
08 - Salt and black pepper to taste.
09 - 4 slices sourdough bread or your choice.
10 - 4 slices sharp cheddar cheese.
11 - 1 tablespoon unsalted butter.

Instructions:

01 - Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3-5 minutes.
02 - In a medium-sized mixing bowl, add the drained tuna, mayonnaise, diced red onion, diced celery, chopped fresh parsley, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
03 - Butter the outer sides of each slice of bread evenly.
04 - On one side of the bread, spread a generous portion of the tuna salad mixture. On the other slice of bread, place two slices of cheddar cheese. Place the top onto the bottom to make the sandwich.
05 - Carefully place the prepared tuna melt sandwiches into the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overlapping.
06 - Air fry the tuna melts at 375°F (190°C) for 5-7 minutes, flipping halfway. The bread should be golden brown and crispy, and the cheese should be melted and bubbly.
07 - Once cooked, carefully remove the tuna melts from the air fryer and let them cool for a minute before serving.
