1905 Salad (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 cup olive oil.
02 - 4 cloves garlic, minced.
03 - 2 tsp dried oregano.
04 - 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce.
05 - 1/4 cup white wine vinegar.
06 - Juice of 1 lemon.
07 - 1/2 tsp salt.
08 - 1/4 tsp black pepper.
09 - 1 head iceberg lettuce, chopped.
10 - 2 tomatoes, cut into wedges.
11 - 1 cup julienned Swiss cheese.
12 - 1 cup julienned smoked ham.
13 - 1/2 cup pimento-stuffed green olives.
14 - 1 cup quartered marinated artichoke hearts, halved.
15 - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan or Romano cheese.

Instructions:

01 - Prepare the dressing by combining olive oil, minced garlic, dried oregano, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, white wine vinegar, salt, and black pepper in a bowl. Whisk until smooth and store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped iceberg lettuce, tomato wedges, julienned Swiss cheese, julienned smoked ham, green olives, artichoke halves, and grated Parmesan or Romano cheese.
03 - Drizzle the chilled dressing over the salad ingredients and toss until well combined.
04 - Serve immediately and enjoy the freshness of the salad.
